Arapahoe Rescue Patrol

Long ago in a town far from here I was a member of a youth organization whose mission was providing mountain search and services to the front range of Colorado. In addition to supporting serch and rescue, these high school students also provided support to the local fire and law enforcement. It is hard to imagine but it is more than 50 years since this organization was formed. In 2007 the Arapahoe Rescue Patrol will be celebrating 50 years of service to the community.
